National Pipeline Mapping System
The National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) is a geographic information system (GIS) created by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) in cooperation with other federal and state governmental agencies and the pipeline industry. The NPMS consists of geospatial data, attribute data, public contact information, and metadata pertaining to the interstate and intrastate hazardous liquid trunklines and hazardous liquid low-stress lines as well as gas transmission pipelines, liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants, and hazardous liquid breakout tanks jurisdictional to PHMSA.

In brief, you should know the following about us: The CALIFORNIA AMATEUR RADIO USERS NET (CARUN) was founded in 1991 providing repeater communications, service and Technical Enjoyment for Hams, interested individuals, etc...Our system has always been open to all licensed Amateur Radio Operators, but accommodating ARES and RACES groups.

The VALLEY EMERGENCY REPEATER ASSOCIATION was founded February 2010 originally formed to service the Bald Mt repeater on Tancred, CA. This technical service group consists of the following hams: Dick AA6DF, Roberto KJ6CCH, David N6QDY, Steve WA6HAM and Jeff WB6DKX.

The California Health Alert Network (CAHAN) is the State of California’s web-based information and communications system available on a 24/7/365 basis for distribution of health alerts, dissemination of prevention guidelines, coordination of disease investigation efforts, preparedness planning, and other initiatives that strengthen state and local preparedness. CAHAN participants have the ability to receive alerts and notifications via alphanumeric pager, e-mail, fax, and phone (cellular and landline).
