The monthly meeting for the Yolo County ARES came to order at 1917hrs (7:17pm) on, 18 Aug. 2011.

Meeting Minutes:
- Old Business: Gary turned in the receipts for Field Day. Expenses totaled to $669.68. Revenue totaled to $650.00.
- Last Tuesday, 9 Aug. 2011, a meeting was held with Darrin, Greg, Gary, Rob and Todd regarding the redesigning of the radio room. An agreement was met as to where everything will be setup and will be moving forward with the project.
- Gary advised of a Statewide Hospital Drill that is to take place the morning of Thursday, 17 Nov. 2011. This drill is to simulate water distribution failure. This drill is currently in the planning stages. Therefore, there are no additional details at this time.
- It was noted by Will that Woodland Memorial Hospital is the only medical facility in California that is Stroke Certified.
- Gary is selling Amateur Radio equipment from estates. Available are two Tri Ex towers among other equipment. One of the Tri Ex towers requires payment up front due the need of it being lifted out from it’s current location. All prices are negotiable. Please contact Gary if you’re interested.
- Rick gave a demonstration on Winlink 2000 and their email program RMS Express. He used a Kantronics KPC-3+ TNC and a Yaesu dualband mobile.
