LICENSING TESTING SESSION
KG6SJT (Greg) reported that ARES and BARK are partnering to host a Ham radio licensing test session on February 13, starting at 7:30 a.m., at the Yolo County Red Cross. Contact K6WLS (Ken) if you plan to take an exam; however walk-ins are welcome.

EXAM STUDY CLASSES

Also reported that the antennas are up at the Davis Police Department in addition to all of the Davis Fire Departments.

FCC RULES
KE6GCV (Todd) reported that the ARRL board has instructed the ARRL staff to seek a change in Section 97.113(a)(3) of the FCC rules to permit amateurs, on behalf of an employer, to participate in emergency preparedness and disaster drills that include amateur operations.
