Notes for the November 17, 2009 Yolo ARES meeting
This evenings meeting was alfresco-- the keys to the Red Cross building were not available.

The Yolo ARES meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Yolo County Red Cross in Woodland. We met outside the front door.
Todd, KE6GCV, led a discussion of the Davis Turkey Trot race this weekend. He has obtained a sufficient number of operators and will be sending out maps, pre-race meeting information soon. Various scenarios were discussed including aid and first aid stations.
It is recommended that ALL Yolo ARES members keep their first aid and CPR certifications current AND that they carry a basic first aid with them when on assignment.
Darrin, K9RTY, mentioned that SOS products has some great kits for about $80. He carries a Trauma kit, but, said that the less pricey kits give good value. Here is the contact info for SOS SOS Survival Products, Van Nuys CA:
