Doug KJ6VHE reminded everyone that the Yolo County ARES monthly meeting will be held tomorrow night, March 21, at 7:00 PM at Raley's in Woodland and hoped everyone could attend.
Gregg KG6SJT announced that a new California Law regarding hand held electronic devices which became effective Jan 1, 2017 no longer includes the exclusion for Amateur Radio Operators as the previous law did, so there is a petition on the Sac Valley Section website that interested persons may sign that requests clarification about this new law and whether Amateur Radio Operators can transmit while driving in California.
