The Davis Double Century, a 200 mile bike ride was run May 16, 2009. Over 40 hams provided vital communications at Rest Stops and for SAGs operations from 5 AM until after midnight. The race had over 700 riders. Ken, KSWLS provided a few photos from Rest Stop #2 during a "quiet period", 56 miles into the race. When the rest stop closed at 10:0 AM it as already getting HOT. Temperature hit 100 degrees in Davis today.
