Doug announced that Joe DeAngelo AG6QO has accepted his appointment as AEC over the National Traffic Service (NTS) area of Yolo ARES. He also reminded us that the ARES monthly meeting will be tomorrow at 7 PM at the Raley's Community Room in Woodland. All members are encouraged to attend. He also reminded us that the "Great Calfornia Shakeout" will be this Thursday the 20th. Doug said that he and John W6FAQ attended an "Active Shooter" seminar.
Ken K6WLS Reported on the FCC exam that he and other VEs from ARES and BARK provided in Sacramento for the Public Health org who were able to gain the assistance they needed to do the exam. There were 25 applicants of which 21 passed the exam. Thanks to all who assisted in this effort.
Greg KG6SJT announced that Vince Cracchiolo KI6NHP was appointed the
Sac. County "EC" Greg also stated that the Cal International Marathon will be on December 4th. Volunteers are needed you can go to the Sacvalleyares.org webpage and signup. He reported that he did recieve a PACKET message from Doug.
